Hugo Broich photography was at 3rd and Chestnut streets in Milwaukee from 1858 to 1870 He moved to 116 and 118 Spring Street in Milwaukee in 1870. Apparently the name Spring Street was changed to Grand Avenue in 1876 then to Wisconsin Avenue in 1926. He retired from active photography in 1896. Broich died in 1905. The addresses shown on cabinet cards should help date them.
